HELLO
NICE TO MEET YOU!
Let us tell you a little bit about us and what we're trying to do with Chin+Annie. Hope you come with us on this journey of discovery and wonder, encouraging us, supporting us and criticize us when you have to.
Designed to be worn often
We create comfortable, versatile garments made to fit into everyday life. Pieces that feel good on the body, work across different settings, and earn their place in your wardrobe - not just for one activity, and not just for one season.
Our focus is on thoughtful design, reliable quality, and comfort you notice from the first wear.

Our approach to design
Every piece begins with real use in mind. We pay close attention to fit, fabric feel, and functionality, designing silhouettes that transition easily from movement to rest, from home to travel, and from studio to street.
We work in small runs and develop our collections carefully. This allows us to refine details, stay close to the product, and avoid producing more than makes sense.
Materials, chosen with care
Whenever possible, we work with existing materials such as deadstock fabrics, extending the life of textiles that already exist. In other cases, we select materials based on comfort, performance, and durability, because garments that are worn often and kept longer are part of a more responsible wardrobe.
We are also exploring fabrics made from recycled sources, such as recycled plastic bottles, where they make sense for the product and its intended use.
Not every piece we make is produced exclusively from environmentally friendly materials. We believe honesty is essential, and responsibility goes beyond fabric choice alone.
How our garments are made
We produce our collections in places where we find strong working relationships, shared values, and respect for the people involved in making our garments. Where something is made matters less to us than how it is made and with whom.
Today, our products are made in Portugal and Sri Lanka. As we grow, production may expand to other locations, always guided by ethical standards, fair conditions, and craftsmanship we trust.

Responsibility beyond the garment
With every purchase, we contribute €1 to Bürger in sozialen Schwierigkeiten (BISS), supporting people facing social and economic challenges.
We believe that homelessness and social hardship are tragedies in the world we live in today. In societies with abundance and opportunity, no one should be left without dignity, support, or a sense of belonging. This is something we feel deeply, and it is why supporting people in social difficulty is a permanent part of our work, not a temporary initiative.
We are also preparing to introduce a garment take-back system through our physical shop. Pieces made with synthetic materials can be returned and directed to appropriate recycling channels, helping ensure they are handled responsibly at the end of their life.
MATERIALS
Our materials are mostly natural. Sometimes though, on our quest to bring you the most comfort and durability, we have to choose something man-made. We are constantly exploring ways to source the ones that are made with the least impact on mother earth.
PEOPLE
Our people are our strength. From making sure they're well compensated and having access to fair working conditions to taking time to get to know them at a deeper personal level, we do everything we can to grow together and make each other better.
PACKAGING
We pack everything in eco-friendly materials. Our courier bags are of recycled paper and the clothes are packed in biodegradable polythene bags. And our delivery partner, DHL, is known world over for their efforts on travelling green.
Our story
ChinAnnie began as nicknames given to us by family and friends, and over time they became the name of the brand. Founded by a couple from two different ethnicities and cultures, the label reflects a blend of perspectives, experiences, and influences.
Rather than making this the focus, we let it quietly inform how we work, bringing together the best of both worlds in our approach to design, quality, and responsibility.

Made to fit into your life
We design pieces that are easy to live in, considered, versatile, and made to be worn again and again. If our garments become part of your everyday life, then we have done what we set out to do.
